The exceptional photography and thoughtful commentary provided by the author/photographer promises to be the greatest investment opportunity the reader could experience! An investment in quality time spent pondering the canine mystique set against various seascapes ... a worthy theme encompassing both of our passions, the sea and dogs with personality.
What a great investment & addition to our library ^..^

One of our very own online friends "Molly" published this book. Her human is a wonderful dog photographer and after lots of hard work and dreaming big she published this fantastic book. We've been highly anticipating ours and it arrived today
If you love dogs (which we know you do), and the beach you will love this book. Yes, it has my approval!! I can't take my eyes off of it. There are a lot of wonderful thoughts to ponder in here. We recommend it.

Steve Dale’s Pet World - This book isn’t about dogs who get too much salt in their diets, it’s a small photo book of dogs rollicking at the beach, where every man becomes a child and where dogs can’t let joy be unconfined. If the weather is warm where you are, just looking at the great photos will cool you off. There are big dogs and little dogs, lots of wet dogs, and even a surfing dog.

"I loved reading Salty Dogs...There are so many great quotes in there--and wonderful photographs! It really makes me appreciate having a dog (and makes me realize that those who don't have dogs are really missing out!) Filled with touching and entertaining photographs and quotes, Salty Dogs is a terrific book! It reminds us of all the joy dogs bring to our lives. If you don't have a dog in your life, you will want one after reading this book!"

From humorous books like Bad Dog to whimsical books like those of Weimaraner photographer William Wegman to heart-wrenching books like the recently released Shelter Dogs, books of animal photos are perennially popular, especially around holiday gift-giving time. With a new photo-book entry, Howell will continue to build upon its success in the pet gift book arena. This series of photos of dogs at the beach will be coupled with thematic quotations and will warm the hearts of those who delight in seeing happy dogs at play. The beach theme will ensure that the book will be relevant both during the holiday season and in spring and summer.
Synopsis:An irresistible gift book for beach-loving, dog-loving folks

Salty Dogs is a fun, cute book -- a great gift for any dog and beach lover. While Salty Dogs is a collection of dog photography, it is an adorable book that any reader could enjoy. On every page is a photo or two of dogs entertaining themselves beach style. There are Pugs frolicking in the surf. Another page shows Goldens jumping through breaking waves. Keep flipping pages and you’ll find Labs, Border Collies, Boxers, and more; proving that your canine doesn’t need to be a ‘water dog’ to love the water! Paired with the photos are appropriate quotes from people of the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Charles Dickens, and Friedrich Nietzsche. With the pictures and quotes side by side, Jean Fogle develops a nice flow from beginning to end of Salty Dogs. The pictures show dogs playing solo, with other dogs, or alongside their owners. They are shown both romping and relaxing. The undertones of leisure, friendship, happiness, and passion span the book and remind us humans to appreciate moments of fun and play.Description:
